「 GODS 」
Of the ten Gods that presided over the universe, only four remain; the others were killed.
These last four Gods were previously banned from keeping close proximity to one another due to their natures and the prophesy about them.
While they’re benevolent and well-meaning, their domains are dark, and it was prophesied that their joining together would spell the end.
CROY: A God of rage and strife. Represented by crows and vultures.
EUDORA: A God of fear and madness. They watch over the ill.
LINNE: A God of secrets and ignorance. Favoring those seeking to grow.
AMENT: A God of grief and sorrow. Patient as spring.
「 FACTIONS 」
Made up of beings from different worlds.
The original leaders of all three factions were from the same world — though the memory of said world has faded from their minds, the factions carry their spirit.
The original leaders of Superesse and Pugnare are both dead; only the leader of Imperare is still among the living.
Imperare is the smallest faction by far, and they’re pretty exclusive …
FACTION #1: The runners, the survivors. Superesse; those who want nothing more than to escape their universe into a new one entirely, far away from the Gods and the ravaged worlds and those beings that destroyed them. Will they move on their own to find a new home … ?
FACTION #2: The fighters, the blood thirsty. Pugnare; those who have fire in their veins for vengeance and ultimately, peace from the darkness that envelops their universe. Do they even stand a chance … ?
FACTION #3: The hopeful ones, the ones with secrets. Imperare; those who limit their numbers and preach of their leader, who can supposedly unite and save them all …
What are they hiding?
「 THE NYX 」
The dark and eldritch beasts that hunt across the universe for any living being. They're horrifying and inexplicable.
HOUNDS: the basic "soldiers" of the Nyx. They take the shape of horrifying, ichor-dripping dogs with sharp teeth and claws. They're pretty fast and strong.
BANSHEES: a special type that screams when living beings are spotted, especially the Displaced. This alerts all other Nyx beings.
VINES: So named because of the vine-like tentacles about them. These ones are incredibly dangerous. They can and will possess you, and sometimes the possession can't be detected ...
